Today we are going to discuss this by looking at how big companies use these strategies.
Let’s look at an example. McDonalds.
1). McDonald’s is trying to build a relationship with you…and they do this to a lot of people by the commercials, by using celebritiers, and by being consistent with their communication to you, and the delivery of the products and experience.
2) McDonald’s also does this by constantly marketing and advertising. Whether or not you eat McDonald’s the point is that they continually show up. They understand the importance of top of mind awareness in their marketing…which understood correctly is the same strategy for you and referrals.
3) They explain what is in it for you. Yes, they are not asking for a referral, but they still tell you the benefit of buying from them.
The psychology is the same, really. If you want to get referrals and want to get them by utilizing referral marketing systems then these understanding the “why” behind things is VERY important.
