All the time. Even if you don’t buy from them, they constantly keep promoting themselves to keep them top of mind.
This is an essential part of getting referrals. If not, people will forget about you. Don’t believe me? Who is your real estate agent? Your insurance agent? Your mortgage broker? If you don’t know their names instantly and who they work for, then they probably don’t know you. I know who our mortgage broker is, not the name of my insurance agent (I think I know the company) and have no idea who is my real estate agent (that person long disappeared!)
